From Worry to Relief: A Dog Mom’s Guide to Puppy Constipation

·       Consistency change is often more important than exact timing.

These are other warning signs: low energy, less playful, hiding or sleeping more than usual. When stool builds up puppy may eat less and turn away from food.

What you can do at home to help your puppy? The immediate measure is to increase hydration by adding warm water to dog’s meals and encourage frequent water breaks.
